Maps of observed precipitation conditions, individual graphics by basin are produced from MERGE/GPM data generated by INPE/CPTEC, considering the period from de 2000 a 2024. Between December 3 and January 1, 2025, the rainfall pattern remains below the climatology for a large part of the monitored area, with rainfall deficits in the basins of the Branco, Guaporé, Içá, Javari, Juruá, Jutaí, Mamoré, Napo, Teles Pires and Ucayali rivers, rainfall above the climatological level characterized the basins of the Abacaxis, Coari, Curuá Una, Iriri, Madeira, basins on the left bank of the Amazon River in the northeast of the state of Amazonas and in the northwest of the state of Pará, Negro, Tapajós and Tefé. The multimodel forecast indicates a rainfall deficit in the coming weeks in the northwest, north and northeast of the monitored region over the headwaters of the Amazon River, Negro and the basins on the left bank of the Amazon River; and a predominance of rainfall above the climatology in the south and southeast of the monitored area over the basins of the Abacaxis, Aripuanã, Guaporé, Iriri, Ji-Paraná, Juruena, Mamoré, Tapajós, Teles Pires and Xingu rivers.
