Maps of observed precipitation conditions, individual graphics by basin are produced from MERGE/GPM data generated by INPE/CPTEC, considering the period from de 2000 a 2024. Between February 11 to March 12, 2025, rainfall below the climatology in the monitored area characterized the Coari, Juruá, Negro, Teles Pires river basins and the main course of the Solimões River with a precipitation deficit, while rainfall above the climatology characterized the main course of the Amazon River in Peruvian territory, the basins of the Aripuanã, Beni, Branco, Curuá Una, Iriri, Ji-Paraná, Jutaí, Madeira, Mamoré, Marañon rivers, the basins on the left bank of the Amazon River in the northeast of the state of Amazonas and the northeast and northwest of the states of Pará and Napo. Rainfall behavior close to climatology over the main course of the Amazon River in Brazilian territory, the basins of the Abacaxis, Guaporé, Içá, Japurá, Javari, Juruena, Purus, Tapajós, Tefé, Ucayali and Xingu rivers. The multi-model forecast indicates rainfall above the climatology for a large part of the monitored area, concentrated in the west and north over the basins on the left bank of the Amazon River, the Rio Negro basin and the main tributaries of the Solimões River. Rainfall below climatology is forecast for the southeast of the monitored area, over the basins of the Abacaxis rivers, tributaries of the Madeira, Tapajós and Xingu rivers.
