Maps of observed precipitation conditions, individual graphics by basin are produced from MERGE/GPM data generated by INPE/CPTEC, considering the period from de 2000 a 2024. Between June 10 to July 9, 2025, below-average rainfall in the monitored area resulted in a precipitation deficit over the main course of the Amazon River in Peruvian territory, the watersheds of the Abacaxis, Beni, Coari, Curuá Una, Iriri, Japurá, Javari, Juruá, Jutaí, Purus, Tapajós, and Tefé rivers, and the main course of the Solimões River. rainfall close to normal in the Guaporé, Içá, Madeira, Mamoré, Marañon river basins, the left bank basins of the Amazon River in northeastern Pará State, Napo, Negro, Teles Pires, Ucayali, and Xingu; rainfall above climatology was observed over the main course of the Amazon River in Brazilian territory, the Aripuanã, Branco, Ji- Paraná, and Juruena river basins, and the left bank basins of the Amazon River in the northeast of the state of Amazonas and northwest of the state of Pará. The multimodel indicates that rainfall above the climatological average will prevail over the northern part of the monitored region in the coming weeks, affecting the Branco, Içá, and Japurá river basins, the left bank of the Amazon River in northeastern Amazonas State and northeastern and northwestern Pará State, Negro, the main course of the Solimões River, and the main course of the Amazon River in Brazilian territory. Below- average rainfall is forecast for the west and southwest of the region, affecting the Beni, Coari, Guaporé, Javari, Juruá, Madeira, Mamoré, Marañon, Napo, Purus, and Ucayali river basins.
