Maps of observed precipitation conditions, individual graphics by basin are produced from MERGE/GPM data generated by INPE/CPTEC, considering the period from de 2000 a 2024. Between November 18 to December 17, 2025, below-average rainfall caused precipitation deficits along the main course of the Amazon River in Brazilian and Peruvian territories, the watersheds of the Içá, Iriri, Japurá, Juruena, and Jutaí rivers, the left bank watersheds of the Amazon River in northeastern Pará State, and the Napo, Negro, Tapajós, Teles Pires, Tefé, Ucayali, and Xingu rivers; excess precipitation was recorded in the Beni and Mamoré river basins; rainfall was close to normal in the Abacaxis, Aripuanã, Branco, Coari, Curuá Una, Guaporé, Javari, Ji- Paraná, Juruá, Jutaí, Madeira, Marañon, basins on the left bank of the Amazon River in the northeast of the state of Amazonas and northwest of the state of Pará, Purus, and the main course of the Solimões River. The multimodel indicates that rainfall above climatological norms is expected in the coming weeks in the eastern part of the monitored region, in the basins of the Abacaxis, Aripuanã, Curuá Una, Iriri, and Juruena rivers, the basins on the left bank of the Amazon River in the northeast of the state of Amazonas and northwest of the state of Pará, and the Tapajós, Teles Pires, and Xingu rivers. Below-average rainfall is forecast for the Japurá and Ucayali river basins.
