Maps of observed precipitation conditions, individual graphics by basin are produced from MERGE/GPM data generated by INPE/CPTEC, considering the period from de 1998 a 2025. Between June 9 to July 8, 2026, rainfall above the climatological average was recorded in the watersheds of the Aripuanã, Curuá Una, Guaporé, Juruá, Juruena, Madeira, Mamoré, Marañon, Purus, and Teles Pires rivers; rainfall below climatological norms resulted in a precipitation deficit along the main course of the Amazon River in Brazilian and Peruvian territories, the Branco, Içá, and Japurá river basins, the left- bank basins of the Amazon River in the northeast and northwest of the state of Pará, and the Napo and Negro river basins; Rainfall close to normal levels was recorded in the watersheds of the Abacaxis, Beni, Coari, Iriri, Ji-Paraná, and Jutaí rivers; the left- bank basins of the Amazon River in the northeast of the state of Amazonas; the Tapajós, Tefé, Ucayali, and Xingu rivers; and the main course of the Solimões River.
